Welcome
In past years I loved reading the daily and post-conference reports from people attending RWA's National Conference. This year I am attending my first national RWA conference (held in Atlanta this year) and will be blogging my experience. As an experiment to see if people find it useful/interesting/fun, I'd like to use this blog to compile a list of other folks blogging from National.
If you would like to have your blog added to the Links section to the right, please leave the URL in the comments. Ditto for those who'd like to nominate someone's blog to be added.
If you are posting your photos to Flickr/videos to YouTube, please consider using these tags: "rwa national conference 2006 atlanta." Additional tag suggestions welcome.
Here is an example of a photo with caption posted by Lynda Sandoval to her Flickr from the Reno conference.

Didn't one of Literary Chicks say they would be blogging this year again? Though, I didn't see mention of it on their site.

Good suggestion! I will add them and confirm with Alesia/Michelle/Lani, et al.
Look forward to reading the blog Jude.
thanks for linking me. I'll be planning to blog national and post lots of photos....
Good to hear! Since Blogroll's update function does not work reliably, I am experimenting with some other ways of highlighting those blogs most recently updated and/or rich with goodness. :)
I'm still wondering whether to bring my laptop. Are people bringing theirs? And if they do have wireless, won't they charge for it?
I am bringing my laptop. The hotel website says there is Internet access in every room.
The question is, though, how well will it work?
Great idea! I'll be likely blogging.

See you in (or from) Atlanta!

Hi Jude,
I'll be posting, providing the DH gets my new laptop setup. *grin* In typical male fashion he managed to mess it up BEFORE it was even setup. LOL But I love him all the same. He especially didn't appreciate my pointing out what was wrong with the computer in the first place. *grin* Network engineers do NOT like to be upstaged. Actually, I expect it will be done by the weekend.
Should prove to be a lot of fun blogging, because I can post without updating my website as I've done in years past. COOL!
oh and thanks for thinking of me!
Great idea, Jude! I'll see you in Atlanta! :-)
Monica Burns was nice enough to turn me on to this. What an awesome idea! I'd love for you to include my blog:

Looking forward to sharing news and interviews with my reader/viewers. We talk romance in a fun, positive, literary way.
Thanks again,

Thanks for thinking of us! We'd be honored.
I love your idea. I'll make sure and announce you on our site as well.

PS I hope you have a wonderful conference experience!
I'll be blogging - http://lisa-pulliam.blogspot.com - great idea!
Hi, Jude. Thanks for listing me.
A couple of people have asked about high-speed internet access in the hotel rooms. It's not free--I looked it up just yesterday, and it's $12.95 per day.
Highway robbery!
Jude - We'll be blogging from National. Thanks for stopping by our blog.

You already have us in the listing. Thanks for including us. We'll be blogging too. We'll be the ones in the lobby with the laptop, avoiding that ridiculous access charge.

I am about to start my pre-conference subjects, and I will be blogging my experience at conference and in Atlanta. Please add me to your link list.

I'll be blogging, too! Sitting cross-legged in the hallway in a "public area," most likely. :)

I found you at Natalie Damschroder's blog. My cat, who owns my blog, probably won't let me blog about Nationals much but I'll at least blog about it a few times. http://meankittybox.blogspot.com
Great idea! Very impressive. And what will you do to follow up? :)

I will probably be blogging from National... (can't help it!)
